Blueberry, Sumac & Cinnamon Botanical Hot Sauce


Personally, I don’t think blueberries get enough credit. I’m here to say they’re small but mighty and bursting with juicy flavor. They’re a happy fruit. I added sumac, which is actually a berry with a tart, lemony note that complements the blueberry’s sweetness. Then it all comes together with the wonderfully warm spice hug of cinnamon which ups the flavor power of anything it touches.

Pairs beautifully with your favorite nut butters, egg dishes, or top it on pancakes or ice cream.
