Pineapple, Rosemary & Turmeric Botanical Hot Sauce
I'm intentional about every ingredient I choose. But, I just really like pineapple. It’s sweet, tart, juicy, and, even a little exotic. Reminds me of being on vacation. I added rosemary which gives a sensual and savory lemony-pine richness and boy oh boy, it really complements the pineapple’s sweetness. But when I added turmeric with its earthy, almost musky, slightly bitter peppery punch, it just rounds out all the flavors.
Pairs beautifully with pizza and cheeseboards, or try it as a glaze on salmon, ham and other meats.
